Fees and Financial Policies for 2007-2008 Season

For New Swimmers:

* New swimmers that have not been on Chinook in a previous season are encouraged to participate in workouts for a 2 week trial period.

* Initial checks for the fee are due at registration will be held until the end of the trial period. If the swimmer elects not to continue, the check will be returned and there is no financial obligation. If the swimmer does continue, fees apply from the day that the swimmer first started.

* Fees for new swimmers joining in mid season will be prorated based on a 10 month training season of October 2007 through July 2008

* If you join the Club after the start of the season you may wish to call the treasurer to find out if pro-rated training fees will be allowed for you swimmer.

All Swimmers:

* We now a have flat fee which covers USS registration, all training fees, AND all meet fees.

* All groups (except Red) require a financial commitment for the full 2007-2008 season.

* Swimmers (except Red) registering for the season and paying the first installment by 9/7/2007 will receive a FREE Speedo team suit, a team t-shirt, and 2 latex team caps. Red swimmers must be on the Club for at least October and November 2007 to qualify for this offer.

* Fees for all groups (except Red that are on a month-to-month basis) are due in 5 equal installments:

1. September 1, 2005

2. November 10, 2005

3. December 10, 2005

4. February 10, 2006

5. March 10, 2006

* Once joining the Club, the first installment is non-refundable

* An additional Non-participation fee of $300 (this fee is waived for families with only Red swimmers) will be assessed to families unable to volunteer to help run Chinook hosted meets - Pentathlon on 11/4/2007, March Challenge on 3/1/2008 & 3/2/2008, and the Age Group Seattle Open on 7/18/2006 - 7/20/2006.

* Participation in the annual Swim-a-thon is required.

* Your initial payment must be paid before the first workout along with your completed registration, medical and volunteer forms.

* You will need a Registration Form, and a Medical Form, for EACH swimmer in your family.

* Reasonable deviations to this payment schedule may be arranged provided you register Your payment plan with the Club Treasurer, treasurer@chinookaquaticclub.org

* Penalties will be charged for late payments.

* Past due accounts must be paid in full before swimmer(s) may enter the water to start the new season.
