Calling All Volunteers!   The Seattle Age Group Open is fast approaching and we need your help!  The meet will be the weekend of July 10-12 at Colman Pool.  The meet is hosted by Chinook, so we need all hands on deck.  The first call for volunteers has gone out.  Please email our volunteer coordinator to sign-up now! See "Upcoming Events" for meet information, order of events, volunteer requirements and list of volunteer positions available.

Red White & Blue Summer Classic - Chinook's annual summer intrasquad meet is just weeks away.  This meet is a great chance for the Red, White and Blue groups of Mercer Island, Renton and Bellevue to get together for an end of season hoorah!  Meet information will available shortly.  The festivities will be held on Sunday, July 19.  Entry fee is $15 per swimmer and includes cap, prizes, and pizza!  Come join the fun!

Note about Long-Course Meet Entries  Entry due dates for the long-course meets are much earlier than the standard 3-weeks-before-the-actual-event for short-course meets.  There are only a limited number of long-course pools in our area, and no team is guaranteed a spot in those long-course meets.  All the meets are first-come, first-serve, so in order for Chinook to maximize our chances of getting into the meet, we need your entries BY (or before) the published deadline!  We appreciate your cooperation and timeliness!!!

Swim-A-Thon - Congrats to all the swimmers who participated at the Swim-A-Thon.  Coaches are currently working on scheduling make-up sessions for those who weren't able to attend on March 7.  Please stay tuned...  If you still have potential sponsors to send letters to, please send them (it's not too late!)  Check out the donation status on the Swim-A-Thon website!
