SWIMMERS:

*** START COLLECTING ADDRESSES NOW !

We are starting this year’s Swim-a-thon with a “Letter Writing Party”.  At this party, we need you to address lots of letters to friends, family, and businesses.  These letters will ask for donations to Chinook Aquatic club.  Chinook will provide letters, envelopes, and stamps at the party.  We just ask you to bring one item to the party:  names and addresses of people to whom you will send your letters.  You can still mail letters after the party but you won’t get the pizza or stamps.

*** RAFFLE PRIZES!

For every three letters you write, your name will be placed in a Raffle drawing to be held at the Letter Writing Party.  All you have to do is hand in your letters and you will be entered.  We will hold Raffles for multiple prizes at the party.

*** MORE PRIZES !!!

• Swimmers who raise $500 or more during this year’s Swim-a-thon will receive a $50 gift certificate AND an entry in the Grand Prize drawing.

• Swimmers who raise $1000 or more during this year’s Swim-a-thon will receive a $100 gift certificate AND two entries in the Grand Prize drawing.

• Grand Prize: At the Chinook Banquet we will award the grand prize to one of the swimmers who raised $500 or more.  This year's grand prize is either an iPod Touch (8GB) or a Nintendo DSi console (grand prize winner can choose either one).
