Let's Wish Good Luck to Scott

LET'S WISH GOOD LUCK TO SCOTT: Dear Chinook Families,  It is with great disappointment that I share with you that Scott Florsheim has decided to resign as head coach of Chinook.  Scott has spent the majority of his life, either as a swimmer or coach, with Chinook.  His dedication and commitment to building a stellar swim program is unequaled.  In each of my seven years associated with Chinook, one of my daughters has had Scott as their coach.  Thus, I have come to know him not only as the great coach he is, but as a good friend as well. I would like to personally thank Scott for all he has done, especially the non-visible things, to bring Chinook to its current level.  I'd also like to wish him and his wife, Cynthea, all the best in the future. A national search for a new head coach is already underway.  We will be doing our best to move as quickly and thoroughly as possible to fill this open position before the start of the fall swim season.  I will keep you informed as developments occur in this transition.  Sincerely, Steve Anderson, President - Chinook Aquatic Club August 23, 2004
